THRIVE Market Review + First Order
2:00 PMI had heard of Thrive several times, but never checked it out until recently. To sum it up: Thrive is a site where you can buy organic items at a wholesale price, and even shop by certain "values"- gluten free, vegan, raw, etc. Because they are wholesale, the prices are drastically cut, which is always a nice thing to find when shopping healthy. They have a vast selection available; all kinds of foods including protein powders and supplements, beauty products, baby items, and more. There's anything from spirulina powder to baby bottles.
There is a membership fee of currently $60 a year, breaking down to only $5 a month, which is very reasonable, and for every membership bought, Thrive donates a membership to a low-income family.
Having recently gone vegan and gluten free, it's been a huge help to find a site where I can search for foods combining the two. Often something that is vegan isn't gluten free, and vice versa. Here I can shop for items which are both, as well as even adding in other values, like if I wanted raw snacks as well.

MY ORDER
It says on their site that items ship within 24 to 72 hours of placing your order; I ordered on June 18, received a shipping notification on June 23, and received my order on June 27, so it wasn't a very quick process. But I'm definitely not judging based on my first order.
I've since sampled most of the items and will commentate on them; maybe you'll see something you're also interested in.
Packaging is very earthy while still trendy yet minimal.
Settled on these two supplements after reviewing quite a few; both are super high in nutrients and good stuff. I've put both
in smoothies (1 tsp spirulina, 1/2 tsp hemp) and it didn't add any unpleasant or noticible taste.
The chips are really good and a great white potato alternative; I haven't opened the granola
but I'm sure it's good. The pumpkin seeds are another super healthy food and are super yummy.
I wasn't a fan of the snaps; they're puffs, and bland, but not bad. I wasn't fond of the Go Raw
crunches either.
I've tried Red Mill oats and really like them, and am excited to experiment with the flour.
The coconut oil and aminos were free gifts. Haven't tried the Justin's but it has a positive reputation.
This is super spicy but really great watered down; I've cooked it with fake chicken strips,
beef crumbles, and diced green pepper. Add a bit of sugar or sweetener to tone it down more.
This is what the order came out to; I had a discount code and free shipping. I also got $12.50 on Ebates! An order of $68 saved almost $66 just from discounts due to being wholesale, and two
free gifts.
I'm really glad to have tried them out finally and look forward to future orders and exploring their selection further. I haven't even dived into the beauty and health sections yet! I absolutely recommend them for anyone with special diets or interests in healthier foods and living.
